Hotel Boulderado

Wednesday & Thursday, September 23 & 24

2115 13th St.
Boulder, Colorado

The Hotel Boulderado was the first luxury hotel built in Boulder, officially opening on New Year's Day in 1909. The five-story building features a blend of Italian Renaissance and Spanish Revival architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The first time we walked into this lobby shortly after moving to Colorado, Holly said “I want to get married here.” So we’re getting married here!

Pearl Street

Pearl Street is a four block pedestrian mall in the heart of Boulder. It’s packed with shops and restaurants, and it’s only a block away from the Hotel Boulderado! Here are some of our favorite spots on Pearl Street (links open in Google Maps):

Restaurants

Shopping

Acreage by Stem Ciders

Friday, September 25 - 12:00pm

1380 Horizon Ave A,
Lafayette, CO 80026

Acreage is a farm-to-table restaurant with a full bar including 20 ciders, and a full cider production facility. Plus it has a huge outdoor area with some of the best views in town!

Holly, Scott, & Janey’s House

Friday Evening and Saturday

4811 Astor Pl
Brighton, Colorado 80601

Come hang out with Janey! Just be prepared to tickle that tum. We’ll keep it casual with pizza Friday night. Saturday will be cookout-style, including a Chick-Fil-A nugget platter (Holly’s only demand) and a Bloody Mary bar. And lots of wine.

And if anyone’s around Sunday, we’ll have all the NFL.

Gifts

For our honeymoon, we’re heading to France! We’ll spend 6 days in the Riviera and 5 days in Paris!

In lieu of gifts, donations for our honeymoon are appreciated, but certainly not expected! If you feel so inclined, use the QR codes below for your payment platform of choice (they’re also clickable links). If you prefer Apple Cash or Zelle, just let us know. Or you can give a good old-fashioned check.

FAQs

While early check-in isn’t guaranteed, please share your flight information with Holly & Scott and we will request early check-in on your behalf. If your room is not ready early, you can leave your luggage at the hotel and start exploring Pearl Street!

If you’ll be in really early, you could check out Rocky Mountain Arsenal on your way from the airport. (see below for more info)

Can I check into the Hotel Boulderado before 4pm?

Where do I park for the Hotel Boulderado?

Complimentary valet parking at the Hotel Boulderado is included in the wedding package for 5 cars!

  1. Scott & Holly

  2. Pulchers

  3. Gene & Peggy

  4. Paul & Jenni

  5. Brian & Katie

How do I get to Pearl Street?

Simply walk south from the Hotel Boulderado… It’s only a block away!

What should I wear?

For the wedding photos / ceremony / dinner, we are recommending dressy attire.

  • Women examples: cocktail dresses, midi dresses, floor-length dresses, elegant jumpsuits or pantsuits

  • Men examples: suits, dress shirts with slacks, optional jackets or ties

All other activities are casual!

What if my dressy clothes are wrinkled from my suitcase?

Same-day laundry services are available through the hotel’s local partner. You’ll simply drop off your garments at the front desk on Wednesday night, they’ll call them in on Thursday morning, and your pressed clothes will be returned in time to put them on and meet in the lobby for photos before the ceremony! Costs will be charged to your room.

How long does it take to get to Acreage from the Hotel Boulderado?

It is approximately a 30-35 minute drive. We all have late check-out from the Hotel Boulderado at 11:30am on Friday, but please give yourself time to complete your check out, receive your car from valet, pack it up, and head out to arrive at Acreage by 12pm.

How long does it take to get to Brighton from Acreage?

It is approximately a 35-40 minute drive. It could be worth asking for early check in at your Brighton accommodation. Or you could kill time with an activity like the Rocky Mountain Arsenal! (see below)

Is there anything to do besides eat and drink?

Of course! If you feel like being active and taking in some nature, there are a few hiking trails within a short drive of the Hotel Boulderado:

Over near Brighton, there are some fun options too:

Anything else I should know?

Don’t forget about the altitude! Boulder sits at 5,430 feet above sea level. Drink plenty of water and take it easy!
