  • No Accounts Required: You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.

  • No Server Storage: We do not operate any external servers. Any information, text, or data you enter into your wine journal remains entirely on your own device.

  • No Third-Party Sharing: Because we do not collect your data, we cannot and do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third parties.

2. Device Permissions and How They Are Used

To provide features like label scanning and location logging, the app will request access to certain device features. All data generated by these permissions stays strictly on your device.

  • Camera Access: Used solely to let you snap photos of wine labels to add directly to your journal entries or for in-app label scanning.

  • Photo Library Access: Used only to let you select and import existing photos of wines or labels from your device's gallery into your journal entries.

  • Location Services: Used to automatically log the city or location where you are enjoying a specific wine. This data is saved entirely within your local journal entry so you can remember where you had it; it is never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all your journal entries, photos, and location data are stored locally in your device's secure storage, you have total control over it. If you delete a journal entry, that data is gone. If you delete the app from your device, all of your journal data will be permanently removed.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in app functionality or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted directly within the app or on its App Store page.
